I would like to base my first impressions on the attitudes of the teachers at metu college, which I found really remarkable. firstly, when we went to the college for the first meeting, a lady's welcoming us at the entrance of the library really had a great influence on my first impressions about the school. The important thing is the lady turned out to be the vice principal of the school because, actually, one would not expect someone in her position to welcome in this way. I know it would be a very deep detail but, the teacher came in after all of us entered the library room, where we would get general information, which means she greeted all of us. Consequently, this first meeting helped me to begin to like a whole-semester experience. Secondly, after the first lesson at the college, I can say that the teachers there are really competent and they like their job, at least they don't seem to bored with the kids, which is reflected in their teaching. Finally, I hope to benefit as much as possible from these atmosphere for my career.

yes ersin you got a very good detail about our first impression issue. as we all know anybody having a good position in an institute does not do the same in these days. actually it is not good. i mean she has to welcome us as she is the vice principal. if there are ones who doesn't do the same (yes there are) that is just because they don't know what the vice principal means or what being in a good position means. maybe it seems it is very kind of her but it may be kind of her position and the teacherness in her, as well.
I agree with you two boys. The teachers there are very special and they deserve to have such special students. I hope you will get a chance to be in a place like that.

You dealt with a good point. The attitude of the administrators is one of the factors affecting the teachers' performance. Most of the time we come across such people who take advantage of their positions and unfairly abuse the power they have in their hands. Maybe we get used to such treatments, but I think your level of awareness will make a difference. Keep observing the attitudes of administrators and let's see what will come out of it :))

Hi, Ersin. I think you are a good observer because I did not realize that the vice-principal welcomed us at the door, and I am really impressed about that now that you told it. It is really kind and this shows us how valuable we are for them as the future teachers... Isn't that nice?
